Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3)

Batman: Arkham Asylum is undoubtedly the best superhero video game ever. It puts you in the shoes of the Dark Knight as he battles his way through Arkham Asylum to face his nemesis Joker.
The Joker traps Batman in the famous psych ward and plans to give the Caped Crusader the night of his life.
The game features a cool combat system in which Batman can fight a ton of enemies at once. Batman has the superhuman agility which enables him to kick and punch his way through crowds of enemies. Not only that but Batman has the ability to sneak up on enemies and take them out one by one. Players have to plan their attacks carefully because Batman is no match for enemies with guns. This gameplay features is the closest thing to dressing up as the Dark Knight.
The boss fights are amazing and the graphics bring to life the dark and gritty atmosphere of Gotham City and Arkham Asylum.
There are tons of unlockables to discover in the game like recording sessions between Arkham Asylum doctors and Batman’s famous villains. The PS3 version also features extra downloadable content and gives the players the option to play as the Joker in several minigames.
Batman: Arkham Asylum is a game that shouldn’t be missed by anyone.
Kids age 12 and above can experience the mystery that is Batman.

Street Fighter IV (PS3)

Street Fighter IV is the latest installment in the popular fighting series. This time it boasts next generation graphics but sticks to the old-school formula of flashy supers and trademark moves. The newest Street Fighter features regulars Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Blanka, Sagat and introduces four new Street Fighters; Abel, Crimson Viper, El Fuerte and Rufus.
Street Fighter IV goes back to its old roots. They have simplified the controls but not to the point of button-mashing. Even with the simple controls the gameplay is deep and it takes a lot of practice to master. The classic moves like sonic boom, Hadōke, Shōryū-ken are instantly recognizable.
The pretty visuals and beautiful 3D modeled characters blend perfectly into the 2D background. The game features the new super and ultra attacks. It has also added the new Focus attacks which add tremendous flexibility during combat and are the end result of efforts by the game’s development team to evolve combat away from the rigid memorization of set combination patterns, giving players the freedom to be creative against opponents.
The fighters are well-balanced. The game features art style graphics that introduce the fighters to their next generation world. The animations of performing a super move are something to awe at.
The landing of each punch, kick and projectile can be felt through the detailed sound effects. Players can also fight each other via online multiplayer. This is one of the best fighting games available in the market right now.
Kids age 12 and above can battle it out new-school style in Street Fighter IV.
