With the success of the G.I. Joe franchise comes the release of the blockbuster movie. To coincide with the release of the highly anticipated movie, Electronic Arts released G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra video game. Players get the opportunity to control the elite G.I. Joe characters against Cobra and his troops. The video game story is based after the end events of the movie.

Players can team-up and take on Cobra’s forces or relive favorite moments in G.I. Joe history.  G.I. Joe is a fast-paced 3D shooter. Many of the characters that appear in the movie appear in the game with additional characters finding their way to the game. There are 12 playable Joe characters each with their own special weapons and abilities. And of course, the G.I. Joe vehicles can be used by the players.

The characters are divided into three classes: heavy, combat soldier of commando. Players have to select the best suited character for each corresponding situation.

There is a ton of unlockables in G.I. Joe - unlock Cobra bosses, file cards that feature stats for Joe and Cobra characters and footage from the original cartoon.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra features fun game play and action. Fans of the franchise are sure to get their money’s worth.

Fallout 3 puts players in the post-apocalyptic world. It is an action-RPG that features innovative shooting and unprecedented graphics.

Here’s a little back story: Washington DC is now known as Capital Wasteland. The US has been devastated by the nuclear war of 2077. Vault 101, a fallout shelter, keeps survivors safe from mutant insects, evolved mutants, pirates and many more weird mutated creatures.

All of a sudden, you awake and your father is missing from the shelter. It is your job to venture into the wasteland and find him.

As you embark on your journey, you must battle mutants and pirates. With every successful battle you will level up and build the necessary skills to survive in the nuclear devastated world.

Another strong feature of the game is the Artificial Intelligence. They behave with realistic human behavior. Fallout 3 also features engaging dialogue, readable facial expressions and superb voice acting.

The vast world of Fallout 3 is completely explorable. It gives an accurate depiction of how the United States of America will look like after a nuclear holocaust. The world has never been so dark and barren. You can also switch between third person and first person views.

As like any other RPG’s. you have the ability to choose your destiny. Players can pick on the innocent or defend them from pirates. You also have the option to talk about your problems and solve them in a civilized manner but if that doesn’t work out blast them into oblivion with your Plasma rifle.

Teens age 17 and above can embark on this incredible action-RPG and enjoy the beautifully rendered graphics

EA has produced another beautiful game with an engaging storyline.

Players will embark on a campaign that puts them behind enemy lines. They must guide a squad of four sarcastic and witty soldiers. It is basically a first-person shooting war game but you’d be surprised with the dramatic storyline.

The squad of four are called Bad Company because they are misfits who are selected to serve as gun fodder. This is where the rejects are sent; Bad Company.

Battlefield: Bad Company features an interactive world where anything can be set on fire and destroyed. I mean everything. For example, when you shoot into the forest, tree barks and leaves start flying everywhere.

It is your call on how you will execute your mission.

You can either charge head-on or actually think of a strategy. Snipe from well-hidden places or steal a tank and go on a rampage to destroy the enemy. It is completely up to you to come up with unique strategies that will fit your playing style.

Bad Company is the first game to use DICE’s Frostbite game engine which means that the graphics and sounds are the first ever of its kind.

The best thing about Bad Company is online play. 24 players can do battle online in the highly detailed destructible environments.

Bioshock is one of the prettiest games on the Playstation 3. Not to mention that the PS 3 version features exclusive content.

BioShock immerses players into a war-torn underwater utopia, where mankind has abandoned their humanity in their quest for perfection.

Bioshock features a morality system in which players have to toy with the question, ‘do I really want to save the survivors or do I want to take advantage of them?’

There are a lot of cool weapons to use against weird and sometimes out-of-this-world enemies. Just to name a few; turrets, chainsaws and other over-the-top weapons.

All weapons are upgradeable to the point where enemies strength’s become their weakness.

The gameplay features a first-person role playing shooter. It is fast-paced and action packed.
