Nintendogs Dachshund & Friends features different dog breeds like Miniature Dachsund, Golden Retriever, Beagle, Pug, Siberian husky and Shih Tzu that kids can take care of. So, if your kid wants a pet but is too young for the responsibility, buy this game. Kids can choose the breed they want to look after. The virtual puppies are cute and look cuddly.
Nintendogs takes full advantage of the Nintendo DS. I can never reiterate that enough. Kids can name their dog whatever they want and call their pets through the mic. At the moment the virtual pets hear their name, they come running towards the screen. Use the stylus to massage your pet’s head, give them a bath and brush their cute furry little puppy faces.
Train them with obedience exercises and increase their stamina by taking them to run around the park. Your pet can meet and play with other puppies in the neighborhood.
Kids can also use the stylus to tug on their leash while taking the puppy out for a walk. There are a lot of contests that you and your pet can join. The prize money won from contests can be used to buy your pets different toys, food and accessories.
This is a fun game for kids who can’t take care of real pets and fantastic for parents who don’t want to clean up puppy poop.
